We offer home, auto and accident and health insurance, as well as other specialty niche insurance products, through a large network of independent insurance agents, as well as directly to consumers. 

The Property Claims Manager leads a team of adjusters to drive performance, collaboration, and a strong customer-focused culture. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day operations, guiding complex claim decisions, and ensuring high-quality claim outcomes.

This position includes a focus on property claims within the Farm & Agribusiness portfolio, supporting consistent results across a geographically distributed team.

National General, an Allstate company, is seeking a Property Claims Manager to join our Claims team, supporting our Farm & Agribusiness portfolio. This leadership role will be overseeing a team of adjusters handling property claims.

 

The ideal candidate will bring strong property claims leadership experience, including managing adjuster performance, guiding complex claim decisions, and ensuring consistent, high-quality outcomes. This role supports claims involving farm properties, equipment, and related exposures, and works closely with adjusters, agents, and customers to deliver timely and effective claim resolution.

Responsibilities

• Ensures understanding of business objectives, results, processes, etc. with their direct reports

• Fosters a collaborative environment that inspires and motivates many employees

• Develops and directs business unit action plans

• Manages and resolves escalated customer communications, concerns, conflicts or issues

• Accountable for human resources duties, including resource management, hiring, performance management, talent development and compensation planning

• Responsible for complex claim decisions, identification of hiring, training, and succession planning opportunities, and the development and implementation of short- and long-term strategies and process improvements to achieve corporate financial outcomes

• Analyzes results and contributes to the development of strategies and action plans to support the achievement of operational goals related to customer service, loss cost management, and expense controls

 

• This job has supervisory duties.

  • Fully remote role with a distributed team across Central, Mountain, and Pacific time zones

  • Minimal travel (~10%), primarily planned team or business meetings

  • Standard business hours (Monday–Friday)

Compensation offered for this role is 98,100.00 - 167,850.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
