Deer Valley Resort is nestled in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah, in the historic mining town of Park City which has evolved into an exciting and diverse mountain ski town. PURPOSE OF POSITION: An Academy Teacher is responsible for supervising and providing a positive, quality learning experience for children two months to five years of age.
This available position is specifically for an infant teacher role.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Follow the curriculum to provide a quality learning experience for children
Maintain a happy, safe, and organized environment by following state licensing regulations
Provide written communications for children’s activities for parents and files on a daily and semester basis
Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Prior experience working with infants, toddlers, and/or pre-school age children in private care, childcare, and/or a school setting required
Deer Valley children’s programs experience preferred
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must pass the FBI fingerprint background check and health check-ups/training
Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs.
DATES OF EMPLOYMENT:
Flex Year Round – may have periods of layoff or reduced hours
PAY RATE:
Pay: $20.00 per hour
