You will be working in a mission-driven environment, with passionate and interesting people. ALU team members work hard but have a lot of flexibility and a great working environment. Duties you will perform in this role include:

• →Manage finance queries via a ticketing system by responding regularly and properly to students, sponsors and stakeholders queries.
• →Escalate invoicing, credit notes and students refunds queries to relevant team members  and ensure they are sorted out on time.
• →Maintain excellent working relations with finance customers.
• →Escalate any discrepancies related to finance accounts.  
• →Assist in  debt collection to minimize overall account receivables outstanding debt.
• →Send statements of account to students where required and follow up on payment.
• →Any other finance related ad-hoc duties to support the Finance Team.
• →Ensure the safety and well-being of all young persons and vulnerable adults with whom we deal,  by adhering to ALU’s comprehensive safeguarding policy, maintaining a zero-tolerance approach to any violations of safeguarding standards. 

• Accounting related degree and/or at least level 1 of ACCA/CPA (or any other equivalent qualification)
• Basic understanding of finance process
• Good communication skills
• Knowledge of G-Suite, Excel and Accounting software would be a definite advantage.
• Proactive, good communicator and self-starter
• Ability to work in diverse teams and under tight deadlines.
