Service Technician - Chiller

Role: Service Technician – Chiller (Dania Beach, FL)

The Service Technician specializes in the start-up and service of equipment for a variety of applications of air-conditioning, heating, ventilation, humidity control and energy management. We are searching for both experienced and entry-level HVAC technicians to help support the growing service business. The candidate must be able to troubleshoot, install, startup, diagnostics, and repair HVAC systems, be dependable and have good customer service skills. This role would service the South Florida area. 

Requirements:

• Understanding of the refrigeration cycle and all its components, including chillers, rooftop units, AHU, cooling towers, pump, operation, and start-up

• Minimum 3 years of experience working with chillers.
• Experience with 3-phase 460 volts
• Experience with building automation and equipment controls
• Ability to troubleshoot refrigeration, electrical, and interpret wiring diagrams at a fast pace

• Ability to execute, follow, and check outlined production steps and procedures
• Communicate concerns clearly within the organization and with external parties
• Intermediate computer use, not limited to Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
• Willingness to learn
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure
• Ability to work in a team or independently
• EPA Certification
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish
• Reliable transportation to and from work
