High risk deliveries will only be emergent (no NICU at our facility). High risk transfer to New Hanover Regional or Cape Fear Valley for NICU - both approx. 30-45 mins. Level 1 nursery at Sampson Regional. Provider will be housed in hospital apartments adjacent to facility. Provider must be within 20 mins per hospital bylaws. Hospitalist support staff, 24/7 on call Anesthesiology support, 24/7 on call Radiology support, Average 27 deliveries monthly with average of 11 C-Sections, 3 labor rooms and 14 postpartum, census is typically 1-3 deliveries/24 hr period.
