A&P Technology’s success has created the need for a Mechanical Engineer. The Mechanical Engineer will develop, design and implement new manufacturing equipment and support various special design projects. They will be responsible for supporting multiple projects across various groups and ensuring production equipment needs are achieved.

Responsibilities:
- Energetically take a hands-on approach with mechanical solutions and manufacturing process improvements
- Encourage, evaluate and implement employees’ suggestions for continuous improvement
- Analyze individual solutions and take appropriate action to ensure company’s needs are met
- Develop, design, model, and implement solutions to mechanical needs
- Produce engineering drawings for in-house production
- Create maintenance procedures and training documents for developed equipment
- Collaborate with Shop, Fabrication and Automation teams to produce equipment in timely and efficient manner
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or similar work experience
- Familiarity with SolidWorks or similar CAD software
- Detailed understanding of mechanical systems
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Passionate about problem solving and exploring new solutions
- Strong troubleshooting experience
- Self-motivated, adaptable personality and willing to work in fast paced, dynamic environment
