About Anapaya

At Anapaya, we are fundamentally redesigning how the world connects. Leveraging the groundbreaking SCION architecture, our networking and cybersecurity solutions provide organizations with unprecedented control, high availability, and proactive security.

We were founded in 2017 as a spin-off from the prestigious ETH Zurich. We are a team of >35 exceptionally talented individuals coming from >20 different nationalities all motivated by our mission: to build the Internet for critical infrastructure, and we are looking for a strategic product leader to accelerate our market adoption.

The Role

We are seeking a highly commercial Head of Product to guide our existing and upcoming networking solutions toward optimal product-market fit. This is not a technical PM role; we are looking for a market-facing leader who deeply understands the enterprise networking, cybersecurity, and telecom ecosystems.
You will be reporting directly to the CTO & co-Founder, and will take full ownership of the commercial success, business modeling, pricing, and overall direction of our product portfolio. A critical mandate for this role over the next 18-24 months is to help transition our existing indirect go-to-market strategy into a highly scalable, 2-tier distribution model (Anapaya ➔ Distributor ➔ Reseller ➔ End-Customer).

What You Will Manage

You will take ownership of our product suite and our newest innovations:

  • Anapaya EDGE: Our secure gateway appliance (physical or virtual) that bridges legacy IP infrastructure with the SCION Internet, featuring multi-pathing, sub-second failover, and EDGE-to-EDGE encryption.
  • Anapaya CORE: The high-performance backbone router deployed by network providers and ISPs to enable robust, inter-domain SCION routing.
  • Anapaya GATE: A proactive defense solution that drastically reduces an organization’s attack surface by making critical online services invisible to the public Internet, rendering DDoS attacks and zero-day scans ineffective.
  • Anapaya CONSOLE: Our centralized, multi-tenant SaaS platform that simplifies the visualization, configuration, and monitoring of all Anapaya network appliances.
  • PathGuard Product Suite: Our latest solution that shifts cybersecurity from reactive defense to proactive invisibility. By ensuring unauthorized users cannot even construct a routing path to protected infrastructure, PathGuard completely eliminates the vulnerability of default public reachability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Ownership: Take end-to-end commercial ownership of existing and upcoming products, driving the design, business model, pricing, and overall go-to-market strategy while ensuring alignment with company-wide business objectives and market demands. Define and track key product performance indicators (KPIs) to continuously improve product adoption and user experience.
  • Market Alignment: Work closely with end-customers (enterprises, industrial ecosystem leaders, operators of critical infrastructure), partners (ISPs, carriers, system integrators, managed services providers) and enablers (IXPs, hosting companies, SaaS and cybersecurity vendors) to identify opportunities, uncover pain points, validate use cases, and translate them into actionable product features.
  • Go-To-Market (GTM) Enablement: Design and adapt product packaging, licensing, and delivery mechanisms to ensure they are highly scalable and replicable for an indirect GTM model. Create compelling product documentation, technical whitepapers, and sales enablement tools to help our commercial teams win in the market. Work with partner managers and customer success to integrate our products into our partners’ offerings.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Act as the central hub connecting multiple departments. You will work hand-in-hand with Product Development/Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Operations to translate market feedback, competitive landscapes, and partner needs into high-impact product roadmaps and deployments.
  • Channel Transition: Play a pivotal role in shifting our sales motion toward a fully realized 2-tier distribution model over the next 18 to 24 months.

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience: 5–10 years of experience in Product Management within the networking, network security, cybersecurity, or telecommunications space.
  • Channel Expertise: Proven track record working with indirect Go-To-Market models. Hands-on experience enabling or managing products within a 2-tier distribution system is highly desired.
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong focus on product-market fit, ecosystem dynamics, and translating end-customer pain points into scalable business models and pricing strategies. You’re also a pro in taking technical features and positioning them into clear value propositions.
  • Strategic Communicator: Ability to collaborate closely with the CTO, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Operations, as well as external distributors and enterprise end-users. You ensure perfect alignment between product vision, operational execution, and market realities. You are fluent in written and spoken English,  German is a plus.
  • Self starter: Possession of a strong "get it done" mentality. You thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment by proactively driving projects forward. You don’t wait for perfect documentation or established processes; instead you actively identify gaps, hunt down answers, and get what you need to deliver results.

What We Offer

  • Impact: Work on fundamentally upgrading the security and resilience of the global Internet.
  • Culture: Join a highly dynamic, talented, and forward-thinking team with flat hierarchies and short communication channels. We host multiple team events and trips every year.
  • Time Off: 25 days of paid time off per year.
  • Flexibility: Flexible working hours to fit your lifestyle.
  • Hybrid Work: Possibility to work partially remotely.
