- →Guide youth in completing daily tasks and developing essential life skills.
- →Provide emotional support and teach healthy coping mechanisms to handle stress.
- →Work alongside the Treatment Team to design individualized care plans for each youth.
- →Mediate conflicts and help youth develop problem-solving techniques for real-life situations.
- →Document progress and key events to ensure everyone is aligned in their care journey.
- →Use verbal de-escalation strategies to manage challenges effectively.
- →Promote hygiene, health, and safety to maintain a secure and supportive environment.
- →Lead with empathy, patience, and emotional intelligence, modeling positive behaviors every step of the way.
- A passion for working with youth and making a lasting difference.
- High school diploma, GED, or associate degree required.
- At least two years of experience working with children ages 6-17 is preferred.
- Must be 21 years or older.
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong self-regulation and problem-solving skills.
- A growth mindset—coachable, open to feedback, and eager to learn.
- Ability to pass a drug screening and background check.
