Youth Care Worker- Part-time and PRN

Location: Marshville, NC, 28103

Responsibilities

→Supervise and guide youth in daily routines and activities
→Encourage participation in group discussions and programs
→Promote healthy coping strategies and emotional regulation
→Foster a non-punitive, emotionally safe space
→Support the development of individualized treatment plans
→Help manage conflicts through positive communication and mediation
→Ensure progress and incidents are documented and shared with the Treatment Team
→Build meaningful relationships based on trust and empathy
→Uphold health, hygiene, and safety standards
→Model consistency, patience, and positive behavior

High school diploma or GED required (Associate degree a plus)
Minimum 2 years experience working with youth (ages 6–17) preferred
Must be 21+ years old with a valid NC driver’s license and clean driving record
Must pass a background check and drug screening
Strong emotional intelligence and ability to self-regulate
Coachable, dependable, and team-oriented
