Software Tester Intern

ASI is seeking a Software Tester Intern to work in our Jacksonville, FL office. The intern will be responsible for day-to-day entry-level technical and/or administrative tasks and will work closely with team members to develop skills in Software Quality Assurance/Development.

We are looking for a sharp, skilled team member to help tackle the expanding growth of our product base. This position will include a balance of automating test scripts and some manual testing and provides the opportunity to expand automation and development experience. You will be working in small, but complete, teams that have ownership of applications and modules. The team member were looking for must be self-motivated with the initiative to succeed, learn, and grow.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Learn and participate in business processes and daily activities for the Quality Assurance/Software Development team
- →Gain experience with systems and programs used in software testing/development
- →Conduct manual testing in development and beta environments
- →Research and make recommendations for improving systems and processes
- →Report, document, and track bugs in ticket system
- →Work with customers to troubleshoot and reproduce issues
- →Provide general technical and administrative assistance and support
- →Complete tasks as assigned by team members
Requirements
~1 min read- Must be enrolled in, in the process of completing, or have recently received a High School diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrated interest in learning about software development
Requirements
~1 min read- Experience with Jira or other bug tracking system
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- $14.00-$17.00 per hour
