ANELLO Photonics http://www.anellophotonics.com is a leading-edge technology company based in Santa Clara, CA. The company has developed integrated photonic system-on-chip technology for next generation navigation.  ANELLO's SIPHOG™ gyroscope is based on its patented photonic integrated circuit technology. We are building Navigation Systems with this technology that are high performance, much smaller size, weight, and power, at a fraction of the cost of traditional  systems used in industrial, aerospace and military applications. It enables reliable and accurate navigation and positioning across many autonomous applications in GPS-Challenged environments for air, land, and sea. ANELLO is currently shipping product with various market-leading customers in the Construction, Farming, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, Autonomous Vehicles in Commercial and Defense segments. We are a well funded ~30 person company planning for increase in production across multiple products.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute, and maintain materials planning and supply chain strategies to ensure timely delivery of materials for production.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand material requirements and forecast demand to support production schedules.
  • Proactively identify potential supply chain risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.
  • Monitor inventory levels and work with suppliers to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery of materials.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and reliability of materials.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
  • Work with engineering teams to identify alternative materials and suppliers to support cost reduction initiatives.
  • Lead and participate in cross-functional meetings to communicate material status, potential issues, and action plans.
  • Utilize project management tools and techniques to track and manage materials-related tasks and timelines.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to drive operational excellence.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and developments to anticipate potential impacts on materials supply and availability.
  • Help with transition from manually driven processes to scalable, software-based workflows by adoption of ERP and PLM systems.

Requirements

  • Minimum BS degree In Engineering, Materials Science (or related).
  • Minimum of 5 Years of experience in materials management, supply chain mgmt, or related.
  • Strong understanding of materials sourcing, procurement, and inventory management processes.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to materials management, such as iso 9001 or rohs Compliance.
  • Self-motivated to learn new technologies and a passion for cross-functional interactions in a fast-paced and innovative environment.
  • Background in Silicon Photonics or other optical products
  • Experience and/or interest in autonomous navigation applications
