Overview

Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting Interventional Radiologists to provide onsite services to eligible beneficiaries of the Brooklyn VA Medical Center located at 800 Poly Place Brooklyn, NY 11209. Shift scheduling is generally Mon-Fri, 8am-4:30pm with call. If you accept employment with Ansible, you must also acknowledge that any assigned schedule is subject to change at the direction of either Ansible or its customers.

Responsibilities
  • Perform a full scope of interventional radiology procedures, including but not limited to:
    • Angiography
    • Balloon angioplasty and stent placement
    • Embolization and chemoembolization
    • Thrombolysis
    • Biopsies
    • Radiofrequency and cryoablation
    • TIPS placement
    • Vertebroplasty
    • Cholecystostomy
    • Nephrostomy placement
    • Line insertions, IVC filters, dialysis access procedures
    • Biliary interventions
  • Review consults and procedure requests; determine clinical appropriateness and treatment plans.
  • Provide post‑procedure follow‑up and manage complications.
  • Communicate findings and results to referring providers and patients in accordance with VA policy.
  • Document all care in the VA Electronic Health Record (EHR) per VA and HIPAA standards.
  • Provide on‑call coverage during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays:
    • Available by phone within 15 minutes
    • Able to report on‑site within 60 minutes if called in
  • Participate in peer review, quality assurance, and quality improvement activities.
  • Attend required staff meetings and specialty meetings.
  • Complete QA/QI documentation and patient safety reporting as required.
  • Comply with VA policies on patient safety, infection control, and professional conduct.
Qualifications
  • MD or DO degree.
  • Board Certified (or Board Eligible) in Interventional Radiology.
  • Certification through the American Board of Radiology (ABR).
  • Active, full, unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state, territory, or D.C.
  • ACR accreditation for Interventional Radiology.
  • Maintain active AHA BLS and ACLS
  • DEA registration.
  • National Provider Identifier (NPI).
  • Must be able to pass a federal background investigation
  • Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift
  • Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
  • Lift up to 20 lbs
  • Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
  • Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
