Delaware North Australia is hiring a Kitchenhand to join our team at Melbourne Airport. As a Kitchenhand, you will be responsible for ensuring cleanliness, order, and efficiency in the kitchen. Apply today and join a team where you will contribute to a first-class dining experience. 

• →Maintain consistent cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area  
• →Conduct temperature and quality checks, effectively managing cross-contamination to ensure WHS compliance, displaying a strong commitment to meeting Food Safety standards 
• →Support kitchen team members in establishing and sustaining an organised and efficient workspace  
• →Take on hands-on cleaning duties, including sweeping and mopping floors, washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, waste disposal and management, operating a commercial dishwasher, and handling cleaning chemicals  
• →Execute food preparation tasks within a commercial kitchen environment, showcasing excellent food presentation skills  

• Demonstrated passion and enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced environment  
• Flexibility to a work a variety of shifts over a 7 day a week roster including morning, days, and nights 
• Previous experience as a Kitchen Hand is preferred 
• Food Safety Certificate or willing to obtain
