• →Read and interpret blueprints and packaging specifications to determine crate dimensions and construction requirements.
• →Build custom wooden crates using hand and power tools, ensuring structural integrity and compliance with safety standards.
• →Incorporate internal bracing, cushioning, and moisture barriers to protect sensitive equipment.
• →Label crates with handling instructions, part numbers, and destination details.
• →Collaborate with production and logistics teams to meet shipping schedules.
• →Maintain inventory of crate-building materials and report shortages or defects.
• →Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in carpentry or industrial packaging preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in crate building or industrial carpentry, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Skilled in using saws, drills, nail guns, and other carpentry tools.
• Familiarity with packaging standards for heavy industrial equipment (e.g., ISPM 15 compliance).
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in a warehouse setting.
