Key Responsibilities * Work in cross functional groups to translate customer configuration requirements into buildable systems within manufacturing business guidelines. * Engage in key customer/account teams to understand customers facilities, technical requirements to recommend best-in class configuration, drive customer to common/consistent configuration and NC reduction. * Initial configuration review, refinement based on final sales order and proactively participation in “Quality/Robust” CaRM process (to ensure BKM compliance). * Create SSPS-J and manage AMJ CES order fulfillment process. * Collaborate with Sales, BM/BMO, PLM, GPM, and Engineering to validate and maintain accurate customer order configurations * Maintain comprehensive and auditable records of configuration changes and customer interactions * Support configuration-related project activities, including planning, tracking, and providing input to execution of configuration freezes and BOM validation * Participate in NPI and CIP processes to ensure configuration readiness and consistency over time Functional Knowledge * Demonstrates depth and/or breadth of expertise in own specialized discipline or field Business Expertise * Interprets internal/external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services Leadership * May lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity Problem Solving * Leads others to solve complex problems; uses sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgment and identify innovative solutions Impact * Impacts the achievement of customer, operational, project or service objectives; work is guided by functional policies Interpersonal Skills * Communicates difficult concepts and negotiates with others to adopt a different point of view ## Qualifications ### Education: Associate's Degree ### Skills ### Certifications: ### Languages: English (Required), Japanese (Required) ### Years of Experience: 2 - 4 Years ### Work Experience: ## Additional Information ### ### Shift: Overtime Eligible (Japan) ### ### Travel: ### ### Relocation Eligible: No ### Referral Payment Plan: Employee Referral (Standard) Applied Materials is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
