Founding Engineer

Temelio is a venture-backed startup that is on a mission to supercharge the effectiveness of the non-profit community. We are building an all-in-one customer-first grant management platform that enables non-profit organizations, specifically private foundations, to optimize distributing & managing funds and measure their impact.

We are looking for someone to join our fast-moving team in NYC to build out our platform and make a difference in the non-profit space!

You are someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You love building products and features from scratch and seek out the responsibility and rewards that come with shipping functionality that customers love. You are customer obsessed.

You are comfortable working and collaborating with leadership, designers, customers, and sales. You can confidently make and execute high-level engineering decisions with minimal oversight. 

You come with 4+ years of software development experience and have a strong technical background in building web applications, working with infrastructure, and writing quality code. 

You will build the technical foundation for an end-to-end grant management platform. You will need to design APIs, code up beautiful UIs, and effectively make tradeoffs for complex product problems. 

You will be the go-to person as our team scales and will become the de-facto engineering feature owner and mentor for future engineers.
