Company ArchWell Health is a senior-focused, value-based primary care platform serving adults age 60+ through a fully employed, clinic-based medical group model. The company was founded in 2020 by Carl Whitmer and Triple Aim Partners, opened its first centers in 2021, and quickly scaled into one of the leading de novo senior primary care platforms in the market, now operating 100 centers across 14 states with 300+ primary care providers supporting its growing footprint. The business has been built entirely through de novo expansion rather than M&A and is structured around full-risk, value-based care. ArchWell partners with payers across Medicare Advantage and related arrangements, managing approximately 80,000 full-risk lives through a high-touch model focused on preventive care, chronic disease management, and disciplined medical-cost management. Unlike affiliate-based physician networks or diversified provider organizations, ArchWell is a pure-play senior primary care operator: senior only, fully employed, and centered on 4-wall clinic execution. They combine a quality, outcome and relationship-driven care model with the rigor of risk-bearing economics, creating a business where member satisfaction, clinical alignment and operational performance are tightly linked.   Opportunity for Impact Medicare Advantage enrollment continues to grow, and payers remain highly focused on partners that can manage senior populations effectively through value-based primary care. Senior-focused clinic models sit at the center of that opportunity, particularly those that can pair strong patient engagement with disciplined local-market execution and total-cost-of-care management. ArchWell has already reached meaningful scale and is now in the phase where the opportunity shifts from initial build to operational refinement. The next chapter is about improving consistency across markets, accelerating center ramp, strengthening unit economics, and ensuring the platform can continue to grow without losing the strengths that made it successful in the first place. The COO will play an integral role in helping ArchWell turn scale into a more unified, repeatable operating system. This is an opportunity to shape how the company matures across markets, builds greater accountability, and continues to strengthen the connection between clinic performance and enterprise value.   Roles & Responsibilities Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Operating Officer will lead field and central operations across ArchWell’s multisite platform. The COO, in partnership with clinical leadership, will own day-to-day operating performance, help scale the infrastructure needed for continued de novo growth, and drive consistency across markets. Partnering closely with the President of the Medical Group and Chief Clinical Officer in a dyad model to align operations, care delivery, and performance priorities, the COO will: Own operating performance across markets and centers, with responsibility for execution, consistency, and accountability across the footprint. Lead field operations, including member retention, staffing, access, provider productivity, member satisfaction, quality and center ramp-to-maturity. Lead and partner in overseeing central operational functions and ensure they provide effective, scalable support to the field. Support de novo expansion, including new-center openings, market launches, and the continued refinement of expansion playbooks. Build and strengthen the systems, processes, dashboards, and management cadence required to support scale. Improve performance across key metrics such as retention, accurate and complete coding, unit economics, and overall center effectiveness. Build and develop the operations organization so it can support a larger, more mature platform over time. Professional Qualifications Senior healthcare operator with meaningful multisite scale, geographic complexity, and P&L responsibility. Experience in value-based care, with a strong understanding of the operating levers and economics of a risk-bearing business. Experience working with physicians in a clinic-based primary care and/or brick-and-mortar healthcare setting. Comfortable in a sponsor-backed environment and able to work effectively with the CEO, CFO, and Board. Track record of leading material growth, including de novo market expansion, new-site openings, and building repeatability across markets. Proven ability to build operating infrastructure, improve execution, and drive performance through metrics and management cadence. Hands-on leader who can identify performance gaps and translate them into practical operating improvements. Strong judgment around where standardization is needed and where local flexibility improves results. High talent bar, with experience building teams, upgrading leadership, and leading through change. Effective partner to clinical leadership in a dyad-style model. Personal Qualifications High emotional intelligence, resilience, humility, and credibility; able to lead through ambiguity and maintain confidence across various stakeholders. Energized by improving quality, access, and outcomes for seniors through a high-touch primary care model. Builder mentality; motivated by scale, complexity, and the opportunity to help shape the next phase of growth. Views operations and technology as enablers of care delivery excellence.
