~1 min readAre you a hands-on, mechanically minded person who enjoys working with equipment and solving problems? We’re looking for a dependable Packager Machine Operator to join our Pineville, LA team.
In this role, you’ll operate, set up, adjust, and troubleshoot packaging equipment to keep production safe, efficient, and moving. You’ll have the opportunity to build your equipment skills, learn new processes, and make a direct impact on the success of our manufacturing operation.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Operate and monitor packaging and filling equipment.
- →Set up machines and perform changeovers for different tube sizes.
- →Make machine adjustments to keep production running efficiently.
- →Troubleshoot equipment issues and help resolve problems.
- →Ensure the correct materials are loaded into the appropriate machines.
- →Clean and maintain equipment and your work area.
- →Learn and maintain knowledge of our production and piping systems.
- →Identify opportunities to improve equipment, processes, and products.
- →Develop your skills across multiple levels of machine operation.
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Minimum of six (6) months of related experience/training in a manufacturing/production environment or equivalent combination of experience and education which provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills and abilities to do the job
- Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Dependability and a commitment to safety and quality.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Manufacturing or machine operating experience is a plus, but we’re willing to train the right person.
