Required Qualifications

→Recently completed bachelor's degree in computer science, computational science, physical sciences, engineering, or a related field.
→Experience in programming with one or more languages such as Python, C, or C++.
→Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks or deadlines.
→Effective collaboration skills and ability to work well in team-based environments.
→Strong written and/or oral communication skills.
→Ability to model Argonne’s Core Values: Impact, Safety, Respect, Integrity, and Teamwork.

Preferred Qualifications

→Experience with scientific data visualization software tools, or software development with 3D gaming engines for use in virtual/extended reality (VR/XR).
→Experience with software build, testing, CI/CD workflows, or maintaining reliable software services.
→Familiarity with HPC, AI/ML, or data visualization algorithms and techniques.
→Experience supporting STEM or HPC educational programming, student engagement, or user training.
→Experience with basic data analysis, reporting, or process documentation.

The expected hiring range for this position is $58,656.00-$92,273.00.

The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as, but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, business considerations, internal equity, and external market pay for comparable jobs.
