About the Job: We are seeking a Backend Developer (Python) to join our Engineering team, where you will design and maintain scalable microservices for our enterprise solutions. The main duties and responsibilities include: - Design, implement, and maintain scalable microservices to support business requirements - Optimize database queries and schemas for enhanced performance and reliability - Lead code reviews and actively participate in architectural decision-making processes - Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams for seamless end-to-end solutions - Ensure adherence to best practices in code quality, security, and thorough documentation - Mentor junior developers while fostering a culture of technical excellence About you: Essential: - Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Python backend development - Extensive hands-on experience with Django or FastAPI frameworks - Strong proficiency in PostgreSQL, including database optimization techniques - Solid understanding and practical experience with Docker for containerization - Proven technical leadership skills with the ability to influence architectural decisions Desired: - Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms - Familiarity with Kubernetes for orchestration and management - Knowledge of gRPC for effective inter-service communication About the Benefits: At Dubai Holding Group Services, you will have opportunities for growth within a dynamic international team.
