Senior Full Stack Developer - GenAI Solutions

Artefact Belgium is looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to bridge the gap between cutting-edge Machine Learning and impactful user experiences. If you have at least 3 years of experience in web development and a strong drive to master Generative AI integrations, we invite you to lead the delivery of our next-generation AI solutions in Brussels.

• Experienced Builder: You have at least 3+ years of experience in Full Stack development, capable of architecting robust web applications from database to frontend.
• Technical Leader: You have a proven ability to manage project workstreams, mentor junior developers, and ensure code quality across the team.
• AI Integrator: You aren't just building CRUD apps; you understand (or are eager to master) how to integrate LLMs, manage prompt contexts, and orchestrate AI agents.
• Consulting Mindset: You are comfortable interacting with clients, understanding their business needs, and translating complex technical concepts into user-friendly solutions.

• →Build GenAI Web Applications: Lead the end-to-end development of client-facing web applications that serve as the interface for our custom Generative AI solutions.
• →Collaborate with ML Experts: Work closely with our Machine Learning Engineers to integrate their models into production-ready apps.
• →Orchestrate AI Logic: Take ownership of the "application intelligence layer." This includes modifying and optimizing prompts, maintaining semantic databases (Vector DBs), and configuring Agentic orchestrations to ensure the AI behaves correctly within the app.
• →Lead and Mentor: Act as the technical lead on projects, guiding junior developers through code reviews, architectural decisions, and best practices in software engineering.
• →Client Delivery: Collaborate with client teams to define requirements and deploy solutions that solve real business problems.
• →DevOps & Deployment: Oversee the deployment of these applications using modern cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience: At least 3 years of professional experience in Full Stack development.
• Core Stack: Strong proficiency in Python (essential for our AI stack) and modern TypeScript frameworks (mainly Next.js).
• GenAI Proficiency: Experience with—or a strong understanding of—integrating LLMs via APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic), working with orchestration frameworks (LangGraph, Agno), and managing Vector Databases (Pinecone, Vertex AI Vector DB, etc.).
• Communication: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in English is required; Dutch or French is a strong plus.
