Position Overview

The Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse provides direct, patient-centered care in a collaborative and supportive environment. This role focuses on delivering high-quality clinical care, promoting patient safety, and ensuring positive patient outcomes across a diverse population.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to medical and surgical patients
• Perform patient assessments, monitor conditions, and respond to changes in status
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate care
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, recovery, and discharge instructions
• Advocate for patient needs while maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standards

Minimum Qualifications

• Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – required

Employment Requirements
