- Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/Surgical Unit

- Compensation: Competitive; commensurate with experience

Position Overview
The Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse provides direct, patient-centered care in a collaborative and supportive environment. This role focuses on delivering high-quality clinical care, promoting patient safety, and ensuring positive patient outcomes across a diverse population.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to medical and surgical patients
- Perform patient assessments, monitor conditions, and respond to changes in status
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate care
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, recovery, and discharge instructions
- Advocate for patient needs while maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
Minimum Qualifications
- Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
- Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – required

Employment Requirements
- Compliance with all hospital policies, including vaccination requirements (approved exemptions considered)
