Position Overview

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Medical/Surgical Unit provides direct, patient-centered care during night shift hours. This role focuses on delivering high-quality clinical care, supporting patient recovery, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care
  • Assess, monitor, and respond to changes in patient condition
  • Administer medications and treatments in accordance with clinical protocols
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
  • Educate patients and families regarding care plans and recovery
  • Advocate for patient needs and ensure a safe care environment
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Minimum Qualifications

  • Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
  • Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – required
