Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Responsible for global forecasting and global planning an assortment that hits the spares planning strategies inclusive of inventory management, planning parameters, demand and supply horizontals, forecasting.
- →Collaborate with spares regional planner to solicit and to align spares forecasts. Ensure ASM has adequate spare stocking level to support regional demand
- →Review and monitor ASM global critical allocation parts, work closely with commodity manager and procurement team to ensure inventory allocation is sufficient to fulfill spares WW demand
- →Development, maintaining, improving and reviewing a global entry plant planning methodology and supersession information in line with regional planners, commodity manager, procurement team
- →Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including regional planners, procurement team, commodity manager, business development team, account team to understand forecasting drivers and gather relevant data and insights to improve the forecast accuracy rate as well as optimize spares performance
- →Improve forecasting processes, tools, and methodologies, leveraging advanced analytics and technologies where applicable.
- →Demonstrate ability to lead meetings to drive actions and accountability across cross-functional teams.
- →Excellent organizational, coordination, planning, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- →Regular analysis report and Ad-Hoc analysis support are both required
- At least 5~8 years’ experience as a planner or related experience with forecasting, inventory management and/or supply chain studies.
- Spares forecasting and planning are desirable.
- Knowledge of forecasting, planning, and scheduling systems, purchase order expedite, spares logistics, inventory management theories with prior experience related to semiconductor, electronics industry or related high-volume customers are desirable.
- Fluent in English is a must
- SAP experience is a must
- Excellent skills in MS office with specific high level proficiency required in Excel
- Strong ability to analyze large datasets, interpret complex data, and derive meaningful insights.
