We are seeking a Facility Specialist II to support our Phoenix operations by maintaining critical gas distribution systems, supporting semiconductor test operations, and ensuring safe, reliable facility performance.
What You'll Be Working On

Monitor and manage specialty gas distribution systems, including tracking gas usage and serving as a point of contact for Valve Manifold Box (VMB) operations.

Perform gas cylinder change-outs and coordinate timely replenishment to support uninterrupted operations.

Assist with gas system dry downs, final connections, disconnects, and commissioning activities.

Support installation, startup, and qualification of gas distribution equipment and related infrastructure.

Troubleshoot complex equipment and facility system issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.

Ensure compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and environmental requirements.

Support facility-related capital projects involving gas distribution systems and infrastructure upgrades.

Assist in creating and maintaining operating procedures, work instructions, and system documentation.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support semiconductor manufacturing test operations and facility objectives.

Participate in general facilities activities and support company events as needed.

Participate in an on-call rotation providing 24/7 support for critical facility issues outside normal business hours.

High school diploma or equivalent required.
-
5+ years of facilities, equipment, or related technical experience, preferably within the semiconductor industry.

Experience supporting gas distribution systems, gas cabinets, VMBs, or other semiconductor facility infrastructure.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex system and equipment issues.

Excellent documentation, organizational, and time-management skills.

Customer-focused mindset with strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Working knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and facility operations.

Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following established safety procedures.

Ability to obtain Breathing Air (BA) Certification and successfully complete respirator fit testing requirements.

Experience supporting semiconductor cleanroom or laboratory environments.

Knowledge of specialty gas systems, gas cabinets, VMBs, and associated safety requirements.

Experience supporting facility capital projects, system installations, and equipment commissioning.

Ability to develop, improve, and document facility procedures and operating standards.

Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize competing demands, and respond effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues before they impact operations.
