Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate all event security operations across the Coliseum.
  • Lead pre-event planning and security briefings with staff, vendors, and/or public safety partners.
  • Oversee guest screening procedures and access control at all entry points.
  • Monitor crowds and ensure proper flow, especially during high-attendance events.
  • Respond to and manage incidents, altercations, or medical emergencies with professionalism and composure.
  • Protect event participants, livestock, and property by maintaining a strong security presence in and around the arena.
  • Maintain detailed logs and incident reports for management and authorities as needed.
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify potential safety hazards or security concerns.
  • Train, mentor, and schedule usher personnel to meet event-specific needs.
  • Serve as a liaison between local Law Enforcement and Fire Department to ensure effective communication, coordination, and collaboration for all joint initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with Cowtown Coliseum, ASM Global/Legends policies, Texas state regulations, and public safety standards.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory or lead role.
  • Working knowledge of crowd control, access management, and emergency response protocols.
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with large crowds and livestock.
  • CPR, First Aid, and AED certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Valid Texas security license (Level II or III) preferred.
