Aspire Educational Services (AES) is excited to announce a great opportunity for contracting Speech Language Pathologist for full time and part time roles partnering with our school partners for extended school year (ESY) in Philadelphia and the surrounding counties.


Aspire Educational Services is proud of the relationships we’ve built within the local educational community. Through comprehensive psycho-social and psycho-educational testing, Dr. Friedman and her team have helped several hundreds of students, families, and teachers over the years. We are dedicated to a high level of service, attention-to-detail, and technical expertise. On a personal note, Dr. Friedman knows first-hand about having a child diagnosed with severe ASD, so we take our work quality and reputation seriously.


Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, assess, develop, and execute individualized treatment plans for people experiencing communication problems involving speech and language or swallowing disorders that affect the ability to eat and drink properly.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy programs designed to restore, reinforce, and enhance performance.
  • Monitor students as they carry out the tasks given to them.
  • Identify need for and make referrals to other disciplines to address the comprehensive needs of the student.
  • Observe & assess clients' progress and prepare detailed reports.
  • Collaborate with IEP teams.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree in Speech Therapy from an accredited college or university.
  • Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) License or Certificate.
  • PDE Certification.
  • Proof of professional liability insurance.
  • Experience in a PreK-12 school setting.
  • Valid Driver’s License, proof of registration, and insurance.
  • Must have current (or be able to clear) required state and federal background checks and relevant clearances.
