  • Open Positions: 
  • Job title:  Transition Teacher
    • The teacher at Aspire Living & Learning’s Transition and young adult Self Directed Service Program plays a vital role in the daily management of the program, including implementation of each individualized plan and supervision of Behavior Therapists ensuring program needs are met.
  • Qualifications:
    • Master's Degree preferred, Bachelor's Degree required
    • Certification in general or special education in the state of Connecticut.
    • Maintain active and in good standing CT Certification
    • Previous experience in a supervisory capacity
    • Ability to communicate effectively with parents, school districts, and all levels of staff across the organization
    • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
    • Computer skills required (i.e., proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required; experience with CT-SEDS preferred).
    • Must have satisfactory background checks
    • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record

  • Shift: 1st 
  • Hours:  40 
  • Pay: $65,000-$75,000

Schedule:  

  • Mon-Fri 8a-4p
