Registered Nurse - healthcare risk management

Be recognized and rewarded for your contributions in an environment where collaboration and innovation are welcome.  If you are an RN and have at least two years of experience of clinical quality or healthcare risk management, we would like to talk with you about our growing portfolio supporting the Defense Health Agency.  We offer a robust benefits program that includes a matching 401k and certification reimbursement as part of our commitment to professional development.   Requirements:   Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Business Management or a Healthcare related field Two (2) years of experience in Healthcare Risk Management  Experience with management of healthcare adverse events Current unencumbered RN licensure Certification in HRM (ASHRM) strongly preferred US Citizenship is required for the DoD Public Trust clearance   Responsibilities:   Provide daily support for and management of healthcare quality data analysis and evaluation. Perform required reviews of active-duty death/disability cases, and initiate the required clinical quality review processes  Identify and process medical malpractice claims by legal outcome (payment) type and standard of care determinations Maintain comprehensive understanding of national data bank and provider organizations including preparing report summaries and notification letters for distribution as directed Leverage medical experience and knowledge when preparing documents including executive summaries for adverse event and adverse action cases Process adverse event and adverse action cases In Accordance With (IAW) current DHA procedures Demonstrate competence with use of measures to assess the quality and safety of care delivered, clinical measurements used to identify trends, and focus quality improvement efforts on performance plans across the healthcare delivery system Maintain solid understanding of healthcare clinical measurement strategies, measures, technical specifications, analysis, and display of data
