Security Attendant

Security Attendant is to patrol the buildings and grounds of the Association and may maintain records of who enters or leaves the property, either at a front desk or a front gate. They may keep track of signing visitors in and out and monitor incoming deliveries. Security Gate Attendants generally assist with providing guests with information and directions.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am-4pm EST.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Respond to alarms and emergency situations.
• Make periodic tours to check for irregularities and to inspect protection devices and fire control equipment. 
• Greet incoming guests and tenants, providing information regarding the site and surrounding area as requested by visitors. 
• Guard and monitor premises to prevent theft, property destruction, violence or rules and safety violations. 
• Perform fire prevention, safety and maintenance tasks and parking/traffic enforcement. 
• Other duties as assigned. 

Hourly pay rate: $18-$20.

• High School Diploma or GED Required. 
• 2+ years of directly related or closely related experience.
• Knowledge of State or local governmental safety requirements. 
• Knowledge of conflict resolution techniques at a proficient level. 
• Professional customer service skills. 
• Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player. 
• Interpretation and completion of verbal and/or written instructions at a proficient level. 
• Time management and time critical prioritization skills.
