Senior Platform Engineer-SAP BPC, SAC & GR

Purpose and Scope:

The Senior Platform Engineer – SAP BPC & SAC is responsible for managing and supporting existing SAP BPC Standard environments while leading the systematic evolution of planning and consolidation capabilities toward SAP Analytics Cloud and aligned SAP finance platforms. The role exists to provide advanced technical and functional expertise across enterprise planning, forecasting, dashboarding, data integration, and financial performance management, ensuring scalable, reliable, and future-ready solutions for finance and executive stakeholders.

• →Manage, support, and enhance existing SAP BPC Standard environments, including planning models, consolidation processes, logic scripts, FOX formulas, EPM formatting, Business Process Flows, and operational support activities.
• →Own and maintain the solution roadmap for systematically migrating planning and consolidation workloads from legacy SAP BPC systems to SAP Analytics Cloud and relevant S/4HANA finance capabilities.
• →Design and configure advanced SAP Analytics Cloud Planning solutions, including planning layouts, value driver trees, predictive forecasting models, executive dashboards, advanced models, public dimensions, complex dimensions, and multi-currency versions.
• →Develop robust corporate planning architectures using Advanced Formulas, Advanced Data Actions, multi-step allocations, Multi-Actions, complex scripting, and FOX-equivalent planning logic.
• →Configure, validate, and maintain live and import data connections between SAP Analytics Cloud, S/4HANA, Group Reporting, and BW/4HANA to enable integrated planning, consolidation, reporting, and analytics processes.
• →Design rich, responsive corporate storyboards, management dashboards, and predictive forecasting workflows that provide meaningful insights for finance, business, and executive leadership teams.
• →Partner with Finance, DigitalX, PlatformX, and cross-functional technology teams to translate business requirements into scalable SAP BPC and SAC planning, forecasting, dashboarding, and reporting solutions.
• →Ensure platform stability, data integrity, performance, documentation, governance, and process reliability across SAP BPC and SAC Planning landscapes.
• →Provide senior-level technical guidance, troubleshooting, continuous improvement recommendations, and subject matter expertise for complex enterprise planning and financial performance management initiatives.
• →Maintain awareness of SAP certification standards and leading practices in SAP Analytics Cloud Planning and SAP BPC, applying them to solution design, delivery, and support activities where appropriate.

Required Qualifications:

• →Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• →SAP certification in SAP Analytics Cloud Planning, SAP BPC, SAP BW/4HANA, S/4HANA Finance, or related SAP technologies.
• →Significant hands-on experience with SAP BPC Standard, including planning, budgeting, forecasting, consolidation support, EPM reporting, logic scripts, data manager packages, and Business Process Flows.
• →Strong practical knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud Planning, including model design, dimensions, data actions, advanced formulas, allocations, planning layouts, dashboards, and story development.
• →Experience integrating SAP BPC and SAP Analytics Cloud with SAP S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, Group Reporting, and other enterprise data sources using live or import connections.
• →Solid understanding of enterprise finance processes, including financial planning and analysis, forecasting, reporting, consolidation, currency translation, and management reporting.
• →Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable, reliable, and governed SAP planning and reporting solutions.
• →Strong troubleshooting, performance analysis, documentation, stakeholder management, and communication skills with the ability to work across business and technology teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• →Experience leading or contributing to SAP BPC to SAP Analytics Cloud migration, modernization, or hybrid planning initiatives.
• →Advanced experience with predictive planning, value driver trees, Smart Predict, Multi-Actions, data locking, workflow, and enterprise planning governance in SAP Analytics Cloud.
• →Exposure to SAP Datasphere, SAP HANA modelling, CDS views, Fiori applications, embedded analytics, or non-SAP data integration patterns.
• →Experience working in Agile delivery environments and using tools such as JIRA, ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, or equivalent platforms for delivery and support management.
• →Pharmaceutical, life sciences, or regulated-industry experience, with awareness of validation, controls, auditability, and data governance expectations.
