Intelligence and Exercise Planners

Atlas Advisors is building a qualified candidate bench for Intelligence Planner and Exercise Planner positions supporting U.S. Army, Joint, Allied, coalition, and NATO missions in Europe. Opportunities may exist at Junior, Journeyman, and Senior levels depending on the labor category and mission requirement. Intelligence Planning Support deliberate, contingency, crisis-action, and operational planning. Prepare intelligence-planning products and participate in the Military Decision-Making Process and Adaptive Planning Process. Develop and manage task orders, operation orders, intelligence annexes, concepts, and planning products. Maintain an intelligence focus on major-theater-war and contingency operations and update related intelligence products. Coordinate intelligence requirements, theater entry, security-cooperation activities, planning priorities, and task tracking. Provide advice and recommendations to senior officials, planners, and operations personnel. Coordinate with Joint, Allied, coalition, NATO, and subordinate intelligence-planning organizations. Exercise Planning Support the design, planning, coordination, execution, and assessment of military exercises. Participate in Joint Event Life Cycle events and integrate intelligence and Information Warfare for the Future capabilities. Develop exercise architecture, scenarios, intelligence injects, operational environments, and staff-training events. Recommend intelligence architecture, manning, exercise design, and integration requirements. Support multinational and NATO exercises and coordinate across the European intelligence enterprise. Operate or support Joint Training Information Management System requirements and mission-essential-task tracking. Provide mentorship and recommendations concerning intelligence planning, analysis, operations, and exercise execution. Position Specific Qualifications Relevant intelligence-planning, operational-planning, exercise-planning, military staff, or Joint and multinational planning experience. Experience with MDMP, the Adaptive Planning Process, JELC, operation orders, task orders, exercise design, scenario development, or intelligence injects. Experience supporting Army Service Component Commands, Combatant Commands, Joint staffs, NATO, multinational headquarters, or comparable defense organizations is desirable. Strong writing, coordination, briefing, and senior-staff communication skills. General Qualifications Requirements vary by labor category and position level. Candidates must possess: U.S. citizenship. An active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. Relevant education and experience for the applicable Junior, Journeyman, or Senior labor category. The ability to work full-time and on-site at the assigned OCONUS location. The ability to obtain and maintain applicable Status of Forces Agreement, Technical Representative, or other required overseas work authorization. Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to support mission-driven priorities in classified or operational environments. The ability to travel, work shifts, or work outside normal duty hours when required by the position. Education and Experience The contract includes Junior, Journeyman, and Senior positions. Minimum education and experience requirements vary by labor category and may permit additional directly relevant experience in place of a degree. Candidates should clearly identify their highest degree and years of directly relevant experience. Overseas Assignment Positions are located in Germany and other supported European mission locations. Work is performed full-time and on-site in classified, operational, secure-facility, construction-site, or military environments, depending on the position. Depending on the position, contract authorization, and individual eligibility, overseas support may include: Relocation assistance Household goods shipment Privately owned vehicle shipment Temporary quarters support Housing allowance Post allowance or cost-of-living allowance Education allowance for eligible dependents Authorized logistical privileges Family-accompanied assignment where permitted Specific overseas entitlements, travel requirements, work schedules, and family-accompaniment conditions will be confirmed for each opening.
