HGV Mechanic

• →Carry out regular maintenance checks and repairs on HGVs to ensure vehicles are safe and roadworthy.
• →Diagnose mechanical problems and carry out necessary repairs with precision.
• →Perform preventive maintenance tasks, including fluid checks, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• →Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed on vehicles.
• →Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a smooth workflow and efficient operations.
• →Stay informed about the latest developments in transport regulations and vehicle technology.
• →Follow health and safety protocols and maintain a clean workspace.
• →Assist in training new staff and apprentices in proper repair techniques and safety measures.

• →A recognized qualification in HGV mechanics or a completed apprenticeship in vehicle maintenance.
• →Demonstrated experience as an HGV Mechanic or in a related role.
• →Strong diagnostic abilities to identify and troubleshoot mechanical failures.
• →Familiarity with various tools and specialized equipment for vehicle repair.
• →Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality workmanship.
• →Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
