Responsibilities

Work experience in commercial door and door hardware installation, troubleshooting, and repair.

Work experience in building maintenance and construction of residential and/or commercial buildings.

Work experience in wood and metal stud structural framing.
→
Work experience in drywall installation and tape, float, and texture of gypsum board.
→
Work experience in interior and exterior painting.
→
Work experience in forming concrete flat work such as sidewalks and concrete pads.

Basic proficiency with Desktop/iPad Computers and Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

OSHA Construction Safety and Health 29 CFR 1910 Training Certificate OR the ability to receive it within 6 months of employment.
Forklift 29 CFR 1910.178 Operator Training Certificate OR the ability to receive it within 6 months of employment.
Aerial Lifts 29 CFR 1926.453 Operator Training Certificate OR the ability to receive it within 6 months of employment.

Ability to travel to more than one work location.

$26.86 to $32.43 per hour.

Monday – Friday: 6:30AM – 3:00PM.
May be required to work during special events, evenings, weekends & holidays.
Work schedule and location is subject to change based on department needs and programs.
May be required to work during city emergencies such as extreme weather events.
