Join a leading financial services environment supporting enterprise Governance, Risk, and Compliance initiatives across Compliance, Risk, Technology, and third-party platform partners. This team operates in a fast-paced, highly regulated setting and is focused on strengthening compliance workflows, improving data quality, enabling reporting transparency, and supporting operational readiness across key risk and control programs.
Engagement: W2 only (no C2C/1099)
This is a hybrid opportunity based in Jersey City, NJ, supporting strategic GRC initiatives and ongoing business-as-usual compliance programs. The role offers exposure to enterprise-level compliance technology, risk/control data, Power BI reporting, UAT, vendor collaboration, and cross-functional delivery across business and technology teams.
- Support end-to-end delivery of Governance, Risk, and Compliance initiatives, including requirements gathering, business documentation, UAT, rollout support, and BAU stabilization.
- Partner with Compliance, Risk, Technology, and vendor teams to translate regulatory and operational needs into functional workflows and system-ready requirements.
- Build, document, and execute UAT test cases, coordinate stakeholder testing, track defects, and help drive issues through resolution.
- Analyze, validate, reconcile, and map complex risk, control, regulatory obligation, and compliance datasets.
- Develop and enhance Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions to support compliance visibility, analytics, and decision-making.
- Support backend data uploads, bulk updates, templates, data fixes, issue triage, and reporting needs for GRC platform operations.
- 5–7+ years of experience in business analysis, product management, data analytics, reporting, or a related function.
- Banking, financial services, compliance, risk, regulatory, audit, or controls program experience strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting GRC initiatives, risk/control frameworks, compliance workflows, CRA, RCM, controls, monitoring, or testing programs.
- Strong hands-on experience with requirements gathering, BRDs, user stories, UAT planning, test scripts, defect tracking, and production rollout support.
- Experience using Agile methodologies and JIRA for backlog management, user story creation, tracking, and reporting.
- Strong data analysis skills, including validation, reconciliation, mapping, and working with structured and unstructured datasets.
- Hands-on Power BI or similar BI/reporting tool experience for dashboards, analytics, and reporting.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Technical aptitude with data models, databases, backend data uploads, templates, bulk updates, and collaboration with technology teams.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
- Exposure to AI tools such as Copilot for analysis, parsing, or idea generation is a plus.
