About the Role
We're looking for a Backend Engineer (Data Focus) to own our data layer end to end. That means integrating third-party sources, maintaining and extending our DBT models on ClickHouse, building enrichment and classification pipelines, and making sure everything translates into real product value - features users actually see and use. You'll work directly with the founding team, you'll have genuine ownership, and the data you improve will show up in the frontend within days, not quarters.

What You'll Work On

• Integrate external data sources: LinkedIn scrapers, email finders, Google scrapers, and commercial data vendors
• Build and maintain DBT models on top of ClickHouse
• Design and run enrichment and classification pipelines - for example, classifying company names as exporters, logistics providers, warehouses, or private persons
• Identify gaps in our data coverage and propose what to collect, buy, or build
• Collaborate with the engineering team to surface data improvements as product features

What We're Looking For

• 3 – 6 years of data/backend engineering experience
• Strong SQL skills with any data base
• Comfortable with at least one of the popular AI Coding tools (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, etc).
• Product-minded: you think about what the data enables for users, not just whether it's technically correct
• Comfortable working independently without a dedicated data team around you

Nice to Have

• Real DBT experience: you've written, tested, and maintained DBT models in production
• Experience with web scraping pipelines or third-party data integrations
• Familiarity with freight, logistics, or B2B data
• Experience enriching or classifying messy real-world entity data (company names, addresses, industry codes)

• Working hours: Monday - Thursday 9:00 - 18:00, Friday 10:00 - 15:00
