Intermediate or Senior Salesforce Developer

Location: Pretoria / Joburg (Hybrid - 2 to 3 days/week in office)

Pay: R50k - R80k pm (Intermediate) | R85k - R120k+ pm (Senior)

Building custom components that actually scale is a different game when you are working across global financial services ecosystems. If you want to push past basic org maintenance and write clean Apex and LWC for massive, high-security platforms, this is where you do it.

We are hiring Intermediate and Senior Salesforce Engineers on behalf of a global technology consultancy based out of Menlyn, Pretoria. You will engineer high-performance solutions, build secure REST/SOAP integrations, and work within modern CI/CD pipelines alongside delivery squads that value clean code over quick hacks.

• High-impact engineering: Move well beyond standard declarative builds. You will engineer custom Apex and LWC, construct enterprise middleware connections, and resolve production performance bottlenecks.
• Modern DevOps tooling: Work in environments that prioritize proper pipeline governance using Salesforce DX, Git, and Copado.
• Clear technical scope: Intermediate engineers focus on clean programmatic builds and high test coverage. Senior engineers take the lead on technical design documentation (TDD), API architecture, and team mentorship.

• Core tech stack: Hands-on experience with Apex, LWC, SOQL/SOSL, and Flow Builder.
• Proven tenure: 2 to 4 years of dedicated platform engineering for Intermediate; 5+ years with solution design exposure for Senior.
• Required certs: Platform Developer I (PD1) is mandatory. Senior profiles require Platform Developer II (PD2) or Architecture-track certifications.
• Integrations & DevOps: Solid grounding in building and consuming REST/SOAP APIs, combined with hands-on CI/CD pipeline management.
• Location: Based in Gauteng, with the ability to work on-site 2 to 3 days per week in Menlyn, Pretoria.
