The Lead Project Engineer drives the change how we engineer solutions. You have project engineering responsibility up to product portfolio level.
As a Lead Project Engineer , you will be responsible for:
· Leading a team to design/build/test/deliver a complete machine to the final acceptance at customer site in system level.
· Working with cross function teams like project management, sourcing, manufacturing, quality, service and safety to ensure all technical issues be tracked/controlled.
· Working out technical solutions/detailed proposals/cost calculations for customized UT testing systems based on customer requirements to support sales team.
· Performing design reviews on system, component and sub-system levels in diversified domains under BH review process.
· Supporting and executing on-site installation, assembly and commissioning, training work to achieve the final acceptance by customer.
· Supporting design engineers to solve detailed technical problems with great system level knowledge and experiences.
· Conducting communications with global teams on both technical and operational topics to improve China team’s technical ability and enhance global collaborations.
· Collaborating with design, mechanical, and electrical engineers to participate in new product development (including robotics integrating).
To be successful in this role you will:
· Have a Bachelor's degree or above in NDT, Mechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Material, Mechatronics, or other related engineering disciplines.
· Have a solid understanding of mechanical design, automation systems, and manufacturing processes.
· Have 3+ years of hands-on experience in the design, development, or commissioning of automatic machinery and equipment.
· Be familiar with mechanical systems, motion control, pneumatics, hydraulics, sensors, PLCs, or industrial automation applications.
· Have experience in customized equipment development, machine integration, or production automation projects is preferred.
· Have knowledge of NDT systems or ultrasonic testing (UT) equipment is a plus.
· Demonstrate good problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional engineering team.
· Be able to communicate effectively in Chinese and English.
· Be willing to travel and take challenges. Have a sense of accountability and ownership. Be proactive, positive and productive.
