Medical Assistant

Description

Our team is looking for a hard-working medical assistant who will work with the physicians and other members of the practice by performing a variety of back office clinical and administrative duties. This person will work to fulfill patient needs and ensure smooth patient flow within the practice.

• →Answers a high volume of calls and schedules appointments for all patients with a high degree of accuracy
• →Communicates clearly on the phone and accurately documents and assigns messages
• →Confirms and updates contact information for all patients at every contact
• →Makes follow-up calls for any messages left
• →Documents appointment visit status, including rescheduled, cancelled, confirmed, left voice message, or any other status appropriately
• →Delivers all communications with excellent customer service
• →Be courteous and professional for all patient interactions
• →Routes calls to appropriate staff for swift resolution

• Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Experience in fast paced scheduling or call center
• 2+ years of customer service experience
• Experience working with performance metrics
• Experience with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
