Please Note: This is a Utah-based hybrid position which will require some regular in-office days each week. Additionally, employment with BambooHR is contingent on passing both a background and credit check.
As an Outbound Sales Manager at BambooHR, you’ll lead a team of high-performing Outbound Account Executives (AEs) responsible for closing new logo business in the SMB segment. While your team will benefit from coordinated outbound prospecting efforts, your core focus will be on deal progression, sales execution, and quota attainment.
You’ll be accountable for developing talent, improving win rates, and executing our outbound sales strategy with precision. Working cross-functionally with Sales Enablement, Revenue Operations, and Marketing, you’ll ensure your team is equipped to succeed through high-impact coaching, clear expectations, and data-driven insights.
You will:
- Leading and developing a team of Outbound AEs focused on closing net-new revenue.
- Coaching AEs on deal strategy, objection handling, negotiation, and closing techniques.
- Monitoring deal progression to ensure strong pipeline hygiene and forecast accuracy.
- Reviewing calls, demos, and proposals to provide actionable feedback and coaching.
- Ensuring adherence to BambooHR’s sales methodology and best practices.
- Owning weekly forecast meetings and ensuring pipeline coverage supports quota achievement.
- Collaborating with Revenue Operations to analyze sales performance and identify process improvements.
- Supporting strategic deals and acting as a thought partner in late-stage cycles.
- Partnering with Sales Enablement to improve onboarding, training, and ramp time.
- Maintaining a team culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.

- →Proven track record of leading teams that consistently meet or exceed new logo targets.
- →Deep knowledge of outbound closing motions and solution-based selling strategies.
- →Strong coaching acumen, especially in call reviews, discovery, and deal advancement.
- →Fluency in CRM tools such as Salesforce, and familiarity with sales engagement platforms.
- →Excellent forecasting ability and a data-driven approach to team performance.
- →Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with executive presence.
- →High adaptability, strong prioritization skills, and a calm, confident demeanor in high-stakes moments.
- →You’re available to attend in-office training during the initial onboarding period (first two weeks) to support ramp and early success.
- Experience scaling outbound AE teams in a high-growth SaaS environment.
- Ability to inspire and motivate high-performing sellers through coaching and recognition.
- Familiarity with MEDDIC, Challenger, or other structured sales frameworks.
- A thoughtful, methodical approach to team development and performance management.
- Comfort with ambiguity and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
- Passion for testing and leveraging AI tools to improve sales productivity and close rates.
