Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end IT procurement process for hardware, software, and IT services.
- Streamline and enhance procurement processes, policies, practices and systems.
- Evaluate procurement proposal to protect the corporate’s best interest and to comply with corporate / internal policies.
- Conduct due diligence on all IT-related purchases.
- Handle full spectrum of tendering process, including source qualified contractors, preparing tender documents, tender evaluation, tender queries, price negotiation with tenderers on contractual qualifications and commercial terms, contract documents binding for the countersign process.
- Ensure integrity and ethics are sustained throughout the procurement process.
- Proactively monitor the procurement cycle (e.g. PR-to-PO lead time, SLA compliance) and implement improvements where needed.
- Support quarterly procurement reviews and assist on bi-weekly Procurement Committee Meeting.
- Support / lead other business activities and ad doc tasks as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Procurement, Global Sourcing, Supply Chain disciplines or related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years’ solid experience in buying / merchandising / purchasing / procurement fields, preferably in IT and bank industries.
- Proven experience with IT procurement, including sourcing technology solutions, hardware, software and implementation services, is a strong advantage.
- Experience in managing tendering process and preparation of tender documents.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong in contract negotiation, supplier sourcing and management.
- Strong attention to detail, numeracy, and analytical skills.
- Good sense of ownership and servicing mindset
- Proactive, passionate, resilient, self-motivated with mature and positive attitude.
- Familiarity with procurement software (e.g., Oracle FPO/ERP/SAP) and advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP) is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
