Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for system design, development, implementation and ongoing support of banking application systems, covering branch business applications, regional platform applications, internal operation tools, reporting applications and related system interfaces.
  • Participate in key business and technology projects to ensure smooth delivery and implementation.
  • Assist project managers in project planning, coordination, progress tracking, issue follow-up and delivery closure.
  • Perform system development, testing, maintenance, production support and technical troubleshooting.
  • Provide BAU support for banking business applications, including monitoring follow-up, incident coordination, problem investigation and daily operation updates.
  • Support change, release and new system go-live activities, including deployment coordination, go-live validation, rollback readiness and post-release stabilization.
  • Act as a technical focal point among overseas branches, Head Office IT units, vendors and internal teams to support end-to-end demand and project delivery.
  • Prepare or maintain system documents, operation procedures, implementation records and project/support-related reports where required.

Requirements:

  • Degree holder or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or related disciplines.
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience. Strong fresh graduates with solid technical capability and good learning agility will also be considered.
  • Hands-on development or engineering capability is preferred, with experience in one or more of the following areas: Java, Spring / Spring Boot, Python, SQL, Shell scripting, RESTful API integration, Vue.js or other web frontend frameworks.
  • Knowledge of enterprise application and integration technologies is an advantage, including Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB, WebSphere / WebLogic / Tomcat, MQ, file transfer, batch processing and Control-M.
  • Basic understanding of enterprise IT environments, including Linux / Windows servers, middleware, web applications, databases, networking, firewall concepts, log analysis and system monitoring.
  • Experience in CI/CD, automation, DevOps tools, Git, Jenkins, containerization or cloud platforms is a plus.
  • Good analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and coordinate across teams.
  • Self-motivated, responsible and willing to learn, with good communication and execution capability.
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese. Putonghua is an advantage.
