At Banner Estrella, Operating Room nurses are valued as skilled professionals and essential partners in surgical care. Our 12‑operating‑room department supports a diverse and complex surgical case mix, and we are committed to an environment where clinical expertise, collaboration, and open communication are fundamental to how we work.

Surgical Specialties Include:

• General Surgery

• Bariatric Surgery

• Orthopedic Surgery, including total joint procedures (hip, knee, shoulder, ankle)

• Orthopedic Spine Surgery

• Gynecological Surgery

• Prostate and Urological Surgery

• Robotic‑Assisted Surgery utilizing four da Vinci 5 (DV5) robotic systems

• Heart and Vascular Surgery

Our Operating Room is known for its strong sense of connection, trust, and teamwork. Nurses work closely with one another, surgeons, and anesthesia partners in an environment where people know each other, support each other, and communicate clearly, especially during complex and high‑acuity cases.

Leadership is visible and engaged, and nurses are encouraged to share their perspectives, raise concerns, and contribute to ongoing improvements in practice and workflow. Professional judgment is respected, preparation is prioritized, and collaboration is the standard, not the exception.

As a Surgical Technologist, you will bring your experience and passion for health care to our Surgery department! Our Main Operating Rooms boasts of 11 OR suites. Services offered include but are not limited to: general cases, GYN, laparoscopic cases, ENT, plastics, podiatry, urology, robotics, cardiac/vascular, endovascular, neuro/spine, and orthopedics.
