As a Contract Hairdresser/Barber, you will provide professional salon services that help residents look and feel their best while building meaningful relationships in a welcoming community.

About the Role

In this rewarding role, you will provide hair cutting, styling, barbering, and grooming services from our comfortable on-site salon. You will create a positive and personalized experience for residents, maintain professional salon standards, manage appointments, and support residents’ confidence and well-being. This is a flexible contract opportunity with percentage-based earnings and the ability to build your own schedule. Minimum 2 days per week, 3 preferred with flexible hours.

Requirements

Licensed Hair Stylist or Barber in British Columbia
Experience providing professional hair services
Enjoys working with older adults
Professional, caring, and dependable
Strong communication and customer service skills
Comfortable portering residents to and from appointments

As a licensed Hair Stylist or Barber, you bring warmth, compassion, and professionalism to every interaction. You enjoy working with older adults and understand the importance of helping residents maintain their dignity, confidence, and personal style. You are dependable, customer-focused, and able to work independently while fostering positive relationships.
