Construction Project Manager
Quick Summary
About Base Base is America’s next-generation power company.
Base is America’s next-generation power company. We’re rebuilding the foundation of modern civilization–electricity–by deploying a vast network of distributed batteries that is transforming today’s fragile, centralized grid into a resilient and abundant system. We are engineers, operators, and creatives solving some of the most complex, interdisciplinary challenges of our time.
About the Role
~1 min readThe Construction Project Manager serves as Base Power's owner's representative across assigned capital construction projects. This role is responsible for the full project lifecycle — from design coordination through construction closeout — with direct accountability for schedule, budget, and scope performance.
The position operates within the Infrastructure & Development team and manages external project stakeholders including general contractors, architects, engineers of record, and specialty consultants. The Construction Project Manager does not perform field construction work directly; instead, they are responsible for contractor oversight, design management, and ensuring project delivery meets Base Power's operational and business requirements.
This role requires strong technical judgment, disciplined project controls, and the ability to communicate complex construction issues clearly to internal leadership and cross-functional teams.
