DSP / Direct Support Professional

BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to join the team in Erie County, PA. BAYADA’s special needs caregivers - Direct Support Professionals DSPs - work one-on-one in home and community settings as a companion for individuals with intellectual or developmental disability to help them reach their full potential. We provide an opportunity for you to make a difference in the lives of others and offer flexibility in our roles to match your needs.  We are part-time, with the potential to reach 40 hours a week, and provide flexibility with scheduling through various shift locations and times throughout Erie, PA.

• Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation 
• Spend time on the client's favorite hobbies and activities  
• Support the client's goals towards independence in the home and community 
• Accompany clients on errands and appointments 
• Participate in community integration activities to focus on socialization 

• One year experience working with intellectual and development disabilities 
• High school diploma or equivalent (18+)
• Ability to transport clients to community activities

Pay: $19.50 / hour, flexible based on case & experience 
Shifts available: part-time, PT, mornings, afternoons, dayshifts, weekdays, flexible
