Currently, bbf: is enlarging its internal staff, and we are looking for a Financial Analyst to join us.
Location: Limassol or Nicosia
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Monitor and evaluate the financial performance of ongoing real estate development projects, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and providing regular analysis, insights, and reports to senior management.
- Track project performance against approved budgets, identify variances, and analyze underlying drivers to support informed decision-making.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models to forecast project cash flows, identify funding requirements, and support effective cash flow management.
- Prepare high-quality presentations and reporting materials for investors and Board members, highlighting project performance, key developments, risks, opportunities, and KPIs.
- Support the evaluation of mergers and acquisitions (M&A), joint ventures (JVs), and strategic partnerships through financial modeling, valuation analysis, due diligence, and transaction support.
- Prepare investment appraisals and feasibility studies to support investment decisions.
- Analyze project capital structures and evaluate financing alternatives to optimize funding strategies and returns.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Technical, Sales, Legal, and Executive Management, to support project execution, capital allocation, and strategic investment initiatives.
Requirements for the position:
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in investment analysis, real estate finance, or corporate finance.
- Strong financial modeling skills, with expertise in ROI analysis and project valuation.
- Fluent in English and Greek (written and spoken).
- CFA / ACA / ACCA professional qualification
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, including complex financial models, advanced formulas, pivot tables and Power Query.
- Ability to identify investment risks and opportunities, providing clear financial recommendations
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for C-level reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
