  • Recruiting, training, supervising and building a strong community of volunteer advisors that work directly with local chapters.
  • Seeking out and cultivating relationships with parents, alumni and partners in the community to mobilize more people to grow and support BBYO.

As the SJCC teen engagement Manager, your responsibilities will include:

Coordination, event activation and facilitation of the following programs:

  • A community-wide teen film event at the SJCC
  • A community-wide Seattle J-Serve initiative
  • A regular series of teen service activities
  • Coordination and facilitation of two 2-weeks SJCC CIT sessions during the summer of 2027
  • Staffing select SJCC events as part of the Community Engagement team (i.e. shabbat dinners, holiday festivals, camp counselor programs during the school-year)

Our team has an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for innovation to drive positive change. Additionally, for Regional Directors, these skills are key to success:

  • Ability to travel to organization-wide events such as International Convention, Staff Conference, and to staff a summer leadership program at a location in the U.S. for 2-3 weeks each summer.
  • Ability to work non-traditional hours (some nights and weekends) when teens are available
  • As a member of the SJCC administrative team, attendance at SJCC meetings and trainings is required
