What you’ll be doing
Managing, maintaining and continuous improvement of the company’s Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (CTPAT) program. Reporting to the Director of Trade Compliance, this position ensures ongoing compliance with CBP security requirements and continuous certification readiness. This role oversees the CTPAT portal and security profile, coordinates compliance documentation and evidence, collaborates with internal teams and external consultants, and drives corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives to support the company’s supply chain security and certification status.

You will be responsible for
Administer and maintain the Company’s CTPAT certification program.
Maintain and update the Company’s CTPAT Security Profile and all related information and evidence within the CBP CTPAT Portal.
Manage the Company’s CTPAT documentation system, ensuring records, policies, procedures, and objective evidence remain current, complete, and audit-ready.
Create process to align internal policies with Minimum Security Criteria (MSC's) for the CTPAT program
Coordinate the collection, organization, and retention of documentation and supporting evidence required to demonstrate compliance with CTPAT Minimum Security Criteria.
Monitor changes to CTPAT requirements and coordinate implementation of new or revised security controls throughout the organization.
Coordinate cross-functional activities with Operations, Human Resources, Information Technology, Facilities, Security, Procurement, Warehouse Operations, Transportation, and other departments involved in maintaining CTPAT compliance.
Coordinate activities with external CTPAT consultants supporting internal assessments, validations, gap analyses, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Track audit observations, recommendations, corrective actions, and preventive actions through completion.
Prepare management reports, compliance metrics, status updates, and dashboards regarding the Company’s CTPAT program.
Support preparation for CBP validations, revalidations, annual reviews, and other certification-related activities.
Coordinate internal training and awareness activities related to CTPAT requirements and supply chain security.
Support CTPAT assessments, security reviews, and consulting engagements for clients as assigned.
What we need from you
Bachelor’s degree in international trade, supply chain management, logistics, or a related discipline.
Minimum of three (3) years of experience supporting or administering CTPAT.
Experience maintaining compliance documentation, records, policies, procedures, and supporting evidence.
Experience supporting certification, validation, audit, or regulatory compliance programs.
Experience within customs brokerage, logistics, transportation, warehousing, manufacturing, or international trade environments is preferred.
Experience working with CBP CTPAT Portal.
Consulting or advisory experience related to CTPAT, or trade compliance is considered an asset.
Strong knowledge of CTPAT Minimum Security Criteria and supply chain security principles.
Understanding of customs brokerage, international logistics, and trade compliance operations.
Excellent project coordination and organizational skills.
Strong document management and recordkeeping abilities.
Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and manage competing priorities.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently while effectively coordinating cross-functional initiatives.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and document management systems.
Advanced English communication skills (written and verbal).
Must be legally eligible to work for the Company at all times
Valid Passport and ability and desire to occasionally travel to USA/Canada
