Our Chelsea Heights site is located in Melbourne’s south-east, manufacturing a range of more than 44 milk, milk-based beverages and cream products. The site currently produces around 100 million litres of product every year!
The Leading Hand/Machine Operator role sits within the Blow Moulding department; utilising and supporting the systems that are in place so that all product and processes achieve required Safety, Quality, Food Safety and Environmental standards, and meet customer and regulatory requirements
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Lead and coordinate shift operations to achieve production, safety, quality, cost, and customer service targets.
- →Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot blowmoulding equipment while ensuring compliance with Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards.
- →Ensure all finished goods meet required quality specifications and customer expectations.
- →Support workforce planning and assist with shift scheduling to ensure adequate staffing and operational efficiency.
- →Drive continuous improvement to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve team performance.
- →Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and support to team members, while assisting managers with operational priorities and reporting requirements.
- Strong leadership skill & management skills in manufacturing environment
